Masjid Warithuddeen Mohammed & Mercy Community Center SW presented its first in the 2012 Visiting Lecturer Series with guest, Imam Qasim Ahmed. The Theme of the weekend was, “The Quran on Faith, Compassion & Neighborly Needs”

On Friday, September 14th Imam Qasim opened the weekend with Jummah at Masjid WDM with Khatib focused on, “Those Who Have Faith & Do Righteous Work”. Masjid Abu Bakr hosted the Friday evening lecture where Imam Qasim focused his lecture on, “Muhammad The Model Of Human Compassion”.

On Saturday, Mercy Community Center SW Sponsored a Panel Discussion:
“Taqwa The Shield Of Faith”, featuring
Imam Wazir Ali, Imam Qasim Ahmed, and Imam Abdullah Rasheed. The weekend ended with the weekly Sunday
Public Address held at Masjid WDM where Imam Qasim focused his discussion on, “The Quranic Neighbor”.
